Decadent gluten free chocolate brownies are the thing you need to brighten even the darkest of days for you and your family. Or the brightest days. Or any day. These brownies are undoubtedly so delicious you will be proud to serve them to anyone.
My sweet friend gave me this beautiful Le Creuset pan as a way to encourage me on this new blog. Because her gift was so sweet and unexpected it really touched my heart. Women that support the other women in their lives are the keepers. This new pan cried out for something wonderful to be baked inside.
As a way to use the new pan, I thought I would bake the most decadent and delicious gluten free chocolate brownies I have ever eaten. No one can tell these are gluten free. They are soft, gooey, delicious and chocolatey in every single bite.
Making the brownies
The only special gluten free ingredient you will need for these brownies is any one-to-one flour such as King Arthur Measure for Measure — an ingredient I always keep stocked in my gluten free pantry.
Not gluten free? If you are person that can still eat gluten use an all-purpose flour in place of the gluten free flour.
Above all, the key ingredient in these decadent gluten free brownies is the chocolate fudge. My family prefers the Ghirardelli ice cream topping. You can find this in most grocery stores in the ice cream section. If you don’t want to spend the extra money for the Ghirardelli, any other chocolate sauce will do. Various chocolate sauces will have different thicknesses. Don’t worry about that — these brownies can handle whatever chocolate sauce you prefer. (The handwritten date on the outside is the expiration date — its how my family keeps track and rotates food in our food storage.)
Unquestionably the assembly of these brownies is so quick, you can have them ready to go in the oven in just minutes.
First, simply measure the dry ingredients in one bowl.
Second assemble the wet ingredients into another and then simply combine.
Pour into a 9-inch baking dish sprayed with non-stick spray and you are ready to bake. Though I used a mixer on this batch, you can easily make them by hand or with a hand mixer.
I love a soft crust on my brownies. The trick to getting a soft crust is to place a clean dish towel over the top of the brownies as they cool.
